Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter: Facebook Retroactively Makes More User Data Public

If you’re a Facebook user like me, this is an important article for you to read so you understand the privacy issues on Facebook.

If you haven’t done so yet, please be sure to check your privacy settings and set them according to your preferences.  If you’re not sure where to find them, look in the upper right corner for “Account” then left click on it and you’ll see all the various settings for your account including the Privacy settings.  Review them carefully and make your choices wisely.

FYI, almost all of my settings are for “Friends Only”.
